Individual Restaurants — Our Favourites
- Morton's — The Steakhouse at Dr Phillips Blvd: Our favourite steak — make a reservation — you may see one of the many sports stars who frequent this fine restaurant.
- Bonefish Grill at W Sandlake: Good food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
- Fishbones at W Sandlake: Award winning restaurant — Great fish, seafood and steaks.
- Moonfish at W Sandlake: Yet another great restaurant — Great food and atmosphere.
- Columbia in Celebration: Award winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.
- Cafe D'Antionio: excellent food at good prices.
- Ran-Getsu on I-Drive: Authentic Japanese cuisine, accompanied on some nights by the sound of traditional Japanese drums — we once saw Tiger Woods in here.
- Amura on W Sandlake: The place to go for sushi fans, but plenty of other options on the menu.
Individual Restaurants
- Red Lobster — on the 192 at Formosa Gardens— Reasonable prices, wide selection (despite the name). The cheese scones are to die for and one of my friends holds the Red Lobster world record for drinking Margaritas!
- Outback Steakhouse - Aussie Steakhouse and more — the blooming onions are scrummy.
- Giordanos — Good Italian restaurant and pizzeria — eat in or take out.
- Passage to India — Good Indian food located at the top of the 192 . Eat in or take out.
- JT’s Prime Time — On the 192 — Steak, Chicken & burgers, a bit shabby inside but the food is ok and reasonably priced.
- Chevys at Crossroads Lake Buena Vista — Mexican
- The Butcher Shop at The Mercado — Char-grilled steaks.
- Seasons 52 at W Sandlake — you need to book and make sure your credit card is healthy!
Buffet Style Restaurants
As you drive around you will see many restaurants offering ‘ALL YOU CAN EAT for $xx’. Whilst the quality can be variable many provide a good option for a larger family, or if you want to save a few cents. Also check out the local restaurant guide booklets they usually contain vouchers.

- Arabian Nights — They claim to be Orlando’s #1 dinner show — very romantic!
- Pirate’s Dinner Adventure — Dinner combined with comedy, romance, action and adventure.

- Outta Control Magic Show — Magic plus unlimited pizza, beer, wine and soda.

Restaurant Locations
- Downtown Disney — includes the likes of Planet Hollywood.
- Universal Citywalk — Variety of shops and restaurants including Hard Rock Café, NBA Café, Nascar Café. Beware, however, you may have to pay for parking!
- Crossroads Mall at Lake Buena Vista — take the 535 exit from I4 — a good range of reasonable restaurants.
- Restaurant Row, W Sandlake and Dr Phillips Blvd — go west on Sand Lake off I4 — Upscale and classy - So many good restaurants in one place, it provides great choice, but you may need reservations for some.
- Old Town — numerous restaurants and shops. Friday & Saturday evenings you may even see some classic cars. Situated south of I4 on the 192
- Celebration town centre — a variety of good quality restaurants. At Christmas it's worth the visit for the snow and to see the decorated homes!
